Where It All Started

Before becoming a hair specialist, I spent 6.5 years working in ethical cosmetics, where I discovered my passion for nature-infused beauty, sustainable practices, and ethical business.

When faced with job redundancy, I chose to channel this passion into hairdressing, pursuing it with an insatiable curiosity.

As an adult learner, I soaked up every piece of knowledge I could find, but found traditional training fell short when it came to curly hair.

Determined, I sought specialised curl education, even training with experts from the U.S. and beyond. Today, I work exclusively with curly hair—from loose waves to tight coils—helping clients embrace and celebrate their natural beauty with confidence and pride.

Empathy, understanding, and inclusivity

Are at the heart of every service I provide. I tailor my dry-cutting techniques to ensure clients can see their style evolve in real-time, creating a sense of trust and partnership.

Whether it’s addressing challenges faced by healthcare professionals who need to wear their hair up daily or providing solutions for active swimmers, my approach ensures that each client feels seen, valued, and well-informed.

With plans to open an eco-conscious, inclusive salon in 2025 and the upcoming launch of my podcast, The Curl Specialist & Awesome Guests, I am dedicated to continuing my journey to inspire love for curls and empower others in the industry.
