Where do I go for my appointment? My new salon is located at 58 Ashley Road, Bournemouth, BH1 4LL
-
Is there parking? There is on the street parking on Shelley Road or North road. The Sovereign Centre car park is a two Minuit walk from the salon. Please leave plenty of time for your first visit so you can find me and parking, give me a call if you are struggling. Note that because of our close proximity to The Vitality Stadium the area is particularly busy on match days so please plan your visit in advance.

How do I prepare for a curly cut?I need to see the curls as they would naturally sit and how you normally wear them. This means I need you to use all your usual products. Don’t wear your hair up as this can pull the curls, equally please make sure your hair is totally detangled as when you next wash and detangle your hair after your appointment our cut may sit unbalanced. Finally please make sure your hair is freshly washed, I know… washing your hair for a cut is barmy but it allows me to cut it perfectly balanced!
-
How do your returning client appointments work?I recommend four cuts a year - one every three months to help with the health of your hair and the shape. After your first visit with me you can rebook for a follow up appointment as either a dry cut only (Devine Balance) or if you feel like another self care sesh... a cut with the wash and diffuse (Returning Path). For the Devine balance you need to book within 4 months, after this time the shape can be trickier to cut and you should book in for The Returning Path. For children under 10 you should select The Moonbeams Glow and follow up appointments are The Returning Moonbeams Glow, the 4 month rule still applies here.

Due to the nature of my services unfortunate even if you have your routine nailed... (yay for you!!) All first time clients should book in for this.

-

-
Do you sell samples? Most of my hair products are available as samples on request. The best thing to do however is book in a "First Step" or "One to One" appointment and lets tailor your haircare to what your hair NEEDS!
-
How do I choose the correct product?I work on a protein/moisture basis - your hair needs one or the other. Typically 95% of people need strength in their hair and this is protein. Each strand of your hair maybe fine but dry to the touch, especially at the ends although you may have a lot of it. Moisture is needed for wiry hair that feels thick and water is not easily absorbed. You can find out more about what your hair needs by joining my Curl Tribe!
-

Can you come to my salon to teach?Yes! Pop me a message and I'll get back to you with course details.
