Frequently asked questions
We need to see the curls as they would naturally sit and how you normally wear them. This means we need you to use all ​your usual products.
Don’t wear your hair up as this can pull the curls, equally please ​make sure your hair is totally detangled as when you next wash and detangle your ​hair after your appointment our cut may sit unbalanced.
Finally please make sure your hair is freshly wash​ed, we know… washing your hair for a cut is barmy but it allows us to cut it perf​ectly balan​ced!
We currently don't do colour services at the moment however we can advise on the best placement, the best place to get your colour and the best colour line to use where your curls can be celebrated rather than stretched to their limits.
Bookings are available up to 2 months in advance, sadly if you don't see an available slot there isn't anything available.
When children are small their hair tends to be fine and soft, when they get a little older, 5-6 years this changes, its at this time you may really begin to struggle with their hair and managing the curls.
A dry cut is suitable up until this point, after this we really need to be able to give the cut more attention so we recommend the moonbeam glow. After this initial appointment they can come in for regular dry cuts (we say 3 and then lets reset again!)
That's not all! Within the moonbeam glow we're going to go through everything with you showing you the best practices for caring for curls at home, this in turn helps turn wash day into something positive for your child and helps them to love their curls.
Our pricing is gender neutral, this means you book on the length of your hair. If your hair is above the ear it takes slightly less time therefore is reflected in the cost.

There is on the street parking on Shelley Road or North road.
The Sovereign Centre car park is a two minute walk from the salon.
Please leave plenty of time for your first visit so you can find us and parking, give us a call if you are struggling.
Note that because of our close proximity to The Vitality Stadium the area is particularly busy on match days so please plan your visit in advance.
We recommend four cuts a year - one every three months to help with the health of your hair and the shape.
After your first visit with us you can rebook for a follow up appointment as either a dry cut only (Devine Balance) or if you feel like another self care sesh... a cut with the wash and diffuse (Returning Path).
For the Devine balance you need to book within 4 months, after this time the shape can be trickier to cut and you should book in for The Returning Path.
For children under 10 you should select The Moonbeams Glow and follow up appointments are The Returning Moonbeams Glow, the 4 month rule still applies here.
Absolutely! Just select wash & diffuse and we'll have you ready for​ you to hit the town! If you’re a bride just get in touch and I’ll drop you over a quote​ that includes travel and extra faffing time! ​
Please note this service does not offer the same education and advice as the first step appointment, its simply a wash and diffuse to make your hair look gorgeous and you feel fabulous!
That's absolutely fine! Please fill out your consultation form when asked to before your appointment and select what you are happy with sharing.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment you can do so by following the link on your confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy -
We're a small business with limited daily appointment slots, and last-minute cancellations mean we lose valuable income that we cannot recover, especially when there’s not enough time to fill the space. Thank you for understanding that these policies help protect our time, energy and ability to offer fair availability to all clients.
You can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment at no charge.
Cancellations or rescheduling made within 48 hours of your appointment time will incur the 50% cost of the service booked.
Cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours of your appointment time will incur the full cost of the service booked.
If you select the wrong appointment we will endeavour to accommodate you however if we are unable to carry out the appointment in the allowed timescale full payment will be required.
If you miss your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full cost of the appointment. Future bookings will not be accepted until the missed appointment fee is settled
You may reschedule a maximum of two times in a 12-month period.
If you select the wrong appointment we will endeavour to accommodate you however if we are unable to carry out the appointment in the allowed timescale full payment will be required.

Currently only services can be paid via Klarna and not products
There is a small processing fee which is added on at checkout - we'd love to cover this like the big companies do but we're not quite there yet!
