How I am navigating being fully booked


I really can't believe I'm sat here writing this post but it seems I am and I'm so grateful!


Since opening my doors I have been met with an abundance of love and support, not only from my existing client base but also plenty of new clients.

I was recently featured in the Bournemouth Echo with my salon opening and with that came 63 new client bookings in 7 days! To say it swept me off my feet is an understatement!.


I have been working well to fit people in the hope that things would calm down however, it just goes to show what a need for good curly hair care there is in Bournemouth as appointments just keep coming!


It's just worth explaining a little bit about the booking processes for new and existing clients so you can see why I've made the decision I have.


When you are a first time client we really work from top to bottom from a scalp analysis to diffusing, this appointment takes aproximately 1hr 45mins. Your follow up appointment is slightly different... girls got options now! Of course you can come in for some real self care and have a cut, wash, style & difuse however you could also book back in for just the dry maintenece cut which is a smaller appointment... see where im going with this?


so in 3 months time I have more space to fit larger appointments in such as first time appointments.


Whats actually happened is I have had so many people booking in I now have no room to fit in existing clients and something has had to give.


As of today I have changed the booking system to show appointments for the next 2 months only. This allows me to rebook in existing clients and allows new clients to add themselves to the waitlist for when a space becomes available.


Its almost like a double edged sword with me being so frikkin happy to welcome you all, but at the same time a bit of a logistical effin nightmare! So I think this is the fairest way for people to still get an appointment with me as a new or existing client. I'm sure as we head into the summer months things will even themselves out but for now if you'd like to join me... get yourself on that waitlist!
