I'm a firm believer that nature holds the answer to many of our issues...
Feeling sad? go for a walk in nature, Feeling stressed? go for a walk in nature, Feeling run down? go for a walk in nature... its basically my answer to many things!
I have always known the power in herbs and botanics and this recipe for a home made scalp mask really does nourish your scalp which is very much needed through these winter months.
Ingredients -
Fresh pumpkin (or tinned pumpkin puree)
Avocado oil
Rosemary
Method -
Get your pumpkin and add to a pan of water with a few sprigs of rosemary.
Boil away until the pumpkin is soft.
Drain keeping some of the water.
Add the pumpkin and rosemary to a blender and slosh in some avocado oil.
Blitz until a thick paste, add some of the saved water bit by bit whilst blending until you get a smooth consistency.
Massage the paste into your scalp (after its cooled obvs!), cover with a shower cap and then tuck a towel over. Leave for 30 mins to then wash and condition.
Pumpkin has deep moisturising properties and is great to moisturise your scalp for the cold weather
